CDK7/CycH/MAT1, Human cyclin-dependent protein kinase 7 (CDK7) in active complex with human CycH and human MAT1 , recombinant and active enzyme

Catalog #: PK125

Product Type: Protein Kinase

Size: 1 mg

$6,500.00

Qty:

The Cdks are serine/threonine protein kinases which are predominantly involved in the progression of the cell cycle. Subsequently, CDK-cyclin complexes (CDK7, CDK8 and CDK9) were also identified as conserved components of the RNA polymerase II transcriptional machinery. CDK7, cyclin H and a third subunit, the RING finger protein MAT1 associated with transcription factor TFIIH and phosphorylates the C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA polymerase II, resulting in a progression of transcription from the preinitiation to the initiation stage. Additionally, CDK7 together with CycH and MAT1 forms the CDK activating kinase (CAK) complex, responsible for the activating phosphorylation within the T-loop of CDK1, CDK2, CDK4 and CDK6.

Human cyclin-dependent protein kinase CDK7, coexpressed in complex with with human CycH and human MAT1. Active protein expressed in Sf9 insect cells and purified as fusion protein by affinity chromatography. Molecular weight based on amino acid sequence 42.4/40.6 kDa (fusion proteins). Specific activity 9.000 pmol/mg x min (filter binding assay).

Size: 20 µg
